🌲 The Forests Dialogue - Pacific Northwest (2025)

Theme: Bioenergy from Forests – PNW Field Dialogue (June 16–20).

I participated in a field dialogue organized by the Yale School of the Environment, visiting tribal forestlands and active mill sites. The experience provided deep insights into how local stewardship, policy, and global energy markets intersect in forest-based bioenergy solutions.

The XXVI IUFRO World Congress focused on “Forests and Society Towards 2030,” providing a global platform for forest science and policy exchange in Stockholm.

🌲 ISFRE Symposium - Houston, Texas (2023)

Theme: Where is Timber Going? Trends and Predictions for Timber Supply and Forest Markets During and After the COVID-19 Pandemic (May 15-17, 2023).

Hosted by the Texas A&M Forest Service, this symposium addressed the critical shifts in global timber markets and supply chain dynamics following the pandemic.

Society of American Foresters (SAF) Convention - Baltimore, Maryland (2022)

Attended the SAF National Convention in Baltimore during September 2022. This event focused on the latest in forest management, policy, and research, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with forestry professionals across the United States.

🌲 ISFRE Meeting - Traverse City, Michigan (2022)

Theme: New Opportunities and Challenges in Forest Resource Economics for Forest Products, Ecosystem, and Carbon Management (May 23-25, 2022).

This meeting of the International Society of Forest Resource Economics (ISFRE) provided deep insights into the economic modeling of carbon management and forest products.

Michigan State University - East Lansing (2021-2022)

A collection of personal moments and scenery captured around the MSU campus and East Lansing during my time in Michigan. From the changing seasons on the Red Cedar River to the iconic campus architecture, these photos represent my life outside the lab.

📏 Forest Inventory & Volume Table Preparation (2020)

Organization: Department of Forest Research, Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation, Nepal

I contributed to the national project “Forest Inventory and General Volume Table Preparation in Scientific Forests of Lowland Nepal.” My role involved collecting and analyzing forest inventory data, including detailed tree measurements and biomass estimations, to support sustainable forest management practices in the Terai region.

🇮🇳🇳🇵 Indo-Nepal Forestry Tour (2018)

Representing: Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University

This academic tour focused on National Parks visit and research infrastructure across Western Nepal and Northern India. Highlights included visiting the Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun, Forest industries in Haldwani, and the Himalayan foothills of Rishikesh and Nainital along the Ganga River.

Bardia National Park (2015-16)

This album highlights early fieldwork in the Terai region. Projects included Tiger Prey Species Monitoring, the Indo-Nepal Dolphin Survey, and Human-Wildlife Conflict Research.
